North Bend is the last town on I-90 before the Snoqualmie Pass and a great launching point for mountain adventures. This community has a historic downtown core famous as the setting of the TV show Twin Peaks. With restaurants and shops, lovely parks, good schools, and lots of outdoor opportunities North Bend is a great place to live, work, or visit. Some of Washington’s most popular hiking trails are in North Bend including Rattlesnake Ridge, Mount Si, and Mailbox Peak.
Location: 30 miles east of Seattle along I-90, last stop before the Cascade Mountain Range

Bottom Line: North Bend still feels like a small town even though its very close to Seattle. The connection with the outdoors is strong.
